so with all the recent talk about trips etc., i'm not sure if anyone is interested or would actually be able to go, but adam and i (and my roomates) are planning on going somewhere warm (possibly cuba?) at the end of the term, either april 22-29 or 23-30. it would be about a grand for an all-inclusive week. sooooo anyways, let me know if you would like to join us! (also if someone can post this on pizzaboner that would be nice)

I'VE HAD MY IDENTITY STOLEN!!!
jane, i just wanted you to know that i never actaully filled out that survey thing about yoru personality. hollie show it to me tonight and that definately wasn't me. i thought they were kind of dumb so i never di it, but if i DID, i wouldn't have chosen teh characteristics that that person did....so yea. i can't elieve somebody pretended to be me! ugh.

oh, thank god. i second hollie's invitation to get drunk on friday. there really aren't that many people actually around this week, so i've pretty much been spending every day (aside from the weekend, which was full of toronto shopping and fun!) reading the chronicles of narnia, watching hours of tv and marking. yuck. considering this is actually my first "real" reading week (i'm usually working at this point in the year) it kind of sucks. and makes me feel even more guilty about not really studying for my three midterms next week. but anyway...less feeling sorry for myself and more getting exciting for friday. woohoo!

listen up. i've been a sober sally since my birthday. i want a repeat of that night, puking in the bathroom all night, taking my bra off at the table, and strip club.
now, it doesn't necessarily have to go that way. but i propose that we all try our damndest to make it so. FRIDAY NIGHT - THE COLLINS. i know a bunch of y'all are back for reading week. i also know a bunch of y'all don't plan anything, so this will be a shining beacon of light at the end of your week. plus, you get to see me, and get to see me drunk, and as everyone knows, i'm a lot funnier drunk. in fact, y'all are too.
and we also know to beware my wrath. i will harass every last one of you until you come and drink and be merry with me. you certainly don't want to leave a bad impression on me. my dad's in the mafia, fools. plus i write one hell of a nasty email.
but i really don't need to plead, or to list the many reasons why you should come. you all know how fun it will be, and how much you'll regret it if you don't come. it's just one of those things, man.
friday. 9pmish. collins. dundas. word.

jess and laura, i work 7:30am - 7:30pm this weekend, which is better than nightshifts, because i can do something in the evening, but i probably won't be able to come shopping. what are the plans this weekend, anyways?

Hey Poach, thats alright. We aren't going to the biggest apple anymore. Very tragic.
I will, however, be home this weekend and then some as it is "reading week" (or as I keep saying "March Break").
I'm glad you are back where you belong, with the porn. Im sure it missed you too.
Anyway Jess is coming to Toronto next weekend, and even tho you're broke, you should come shopping with us. Why? Well you can return your shirt. And since Kimmers is going to blow her Tropical Vacation Money, we can both egg her on to buy ridiculous things ("Everyone needs gold-plated, diamond-studded boots laced with Panda Bear fur. So in this season").

i have to work that weekend! as jessica and i already discussed, and i am anticipating that i will be BEYOND poor once i recieve next month's credit card statement. i'm avoiding my online statement because it's just going to be too damn high. i went on a little bit of a shopping spree, and i think i accidentally bought $500 worth of clothes.
but everything is super cute. i'm taking back one shirt! which obviously shows my high level of self-restraint. plus, i didn't try it on in the store, and it looks so terrible on me.
i'm back at the old (new?) job. it's great. in fact, i am doing some adult content right now. i feel so at home. like a huge weight has been lifted. i can breath easily, amongst the passionate moans.
i'm in hamilton this weekend, anyone else? here's a secret (mike and i are looking at apartments in hamilton) have we become lame? in my opinion, yes. i love tdot.

Dear Laura,
Don't worry, it will be all over soon. And just think: I did it twice and I survived!!! Last year was the grad school year, but then I didn't even end up going once I got in. I'm a fucktard. This year is the edumacation year. And then I swear to god I am never applying to something again.

Hello there Howard, I hate you.
Speaking of camping, I had an awesome idea for it last summer, but now that I live on the other side of the country I guess it doesn't really matter? Still, it would be cool to do someday. Ok, usually we all put it 10 or so dollars to rent the campsites for the weekend, and then we drive some insane amount of driving to go camping, yet we are still super far away from water, and have to worry about pesky patrol people and mexican families telling us to be quiet.
Well, in the same 4 hours drive in the other direction, we come to the land of freaking lakes. Specifically, Otty Lake, the Rideau, and like a thousand others. I have always wanted to get a big group of people together, spend our money on renting some fishing boat-type deals (or really, rowboats would do), because they would be cheaper than the money we would spend on a campsite. From there we row out to an island and all camp on that. No one to tell us to shut up, no mexican families, and the water pretty much surrounds us. It would be awesome.
There are so many perfect islands for doing it up at my cottage. Only, I don't really know what the point of this is, because I won't be home. I'm a tard. I just wanted to say my idea I guess.
You fools should plan a camping trip anyway. I should be home at least once in the summer, so maybe I can plan it around whenever you guys go. Maybe if we book this early when can get somewhere closer. and warmer! Also, maybe Christine can get high again.
I have to get back to work, but I'll leave you with this: Prepare to be spiritually enlightened!!!!

blahhh. only five more days of this crappy old job. on monday though, i have to pull an astonishing twenty-hour workday. how is that possible? i'm not sure if it is!
jess, i emailed my boss, and he said that there is a three-month probationary period before i can take time off. i should have said that it was already booked, because he said that we might be able to work something out if it was, but i said i didn't know the dates...because i didn't. :P
blahhhh, i wanted to go sooo badly. i've been working non-stop, it feels. are you and adam still going to go? was anyone else interested? what about daryl and christine? they have spring break too, right? i'm sorry jess! maybe next year.
should we do the camping thing again this year? maybe if we book early enough we could get the 'group campsites' instead of having to book many, and then there will be less problems!

I'm sorry, dear friends, but I've already left the Ancaster area. I have tickets for a grad fundraiser tomorrow and therefore must go. Plus I had to send out some more applications from York. But I have new hair! NEW HAIR!
Um staying up till five playing drinking games was NOT a good idea.

laura are you leaving ancaster now/?....or by tomorrow i mean. dont' leave! come to the poker party!....also, hollie i am going to vote tomorrow. i really didn't want to vote early as i'm not dead set on what exactly i'm going to vote, but i also realized that i have no proof taht i live in watelroo right now. soooo....tomorrow between noon and 8pm, i will also be hanging with the seniors at st. john's for the pre-voting party.
i'm excited for the poker party tomorrow. also, i think that once teh first rounds are over, the rset of us should start playing drinking games. i miss drinking games. i discovered their charm last term while on co-op, and we played some omre tonight. so yea. lets do taht. ( you may note that i'm pretty drunk right now. i didn't mean for it to happen...but it did. oh well)
dan, i'm excited to see you tomorrow. i can't believe you snubbed us during the WHOLE winter break. jerk.

Don't worry Hollie, I just voted. I am a responsible citizen of this democracy.
Also: I have discovered the main event of the social season for old people: pre-voting! I swear, St. John's Parish Hall was just PACKED with the buggers.
Or...or.. burgers? What?

Hollie, fear not: I shall vote.
The nature of my vote may not be a topic of debate, but the debate of voting is quite the topic!
I registered to vote in North York, where the potential for a non-conservative leader to gain a riding is more likely than Ancaster. I feel that I have done a good thing. This will be a good thing.
Fancy Poker Party?
You bet.

if i find out that any of youse don't vote at all, you will either
a) get a punch in the face
or
b) not allowed to be my friend anymore
either way they are both dire consequences. nothing bothers me more than people not voting. it's the country you live in! you must! even if you pretend to be too cool to care about politics, or who runs the country or think that you won't be affected by the outcome either way, it is a civic duty, and of course your life will be affected in some way or another by the person who is leading the country. if you don't vote you can't complain about healthcare, or tuition, or your wages, or anything ever again. i will hold you to that.

i didn't watch the debate, because i was frantically trying to finish reading the FIVE CHAPTERS i was supposed to do for this class so that i could do the quiz that was due this morning. and then our internet died (again...its been on and off for the last few days) so i had to go to my brothers to do the quiz. and then i realized that i shouldn't have even bothered doing the reading. ugh.
i'm also not sure if i'm going to vote. i want to, but i wasn't planning on going home next weekend so i need to decide if i want to go home for a day, or vote in waterloo. but we'll see.
okay i need to do some work now...will try to keep blogging later.

Hot? Me? Really? Well Laura, you should get that little bird of yours to spread the word to all the fourth-year students too...ya know...the ones I can shack up with without getting a court order.
And yes Hollie, I agree - we are much more attractive than Pizzaboner. All they have are...pizzas...and...boners?
Jess: Those little clicker dealies are used at UWO too! I haven't had one (thank god...i don't want to buy one of those stupid things), but I think they use them in all the bigass 1st year classes...like bio and chem and all that scientific bullpoo I never had the patience for.
Speaking of UWO...I'm headed back thurr tomorrow morning. Finally. I mean, it's not like I hate the greater Hamiltron area or anything, but this last week has gone by soooooooo slooooooowly. I basically hibernated and downloaded music for 5 days straight...which isn't bad. But I need some excitement...I need to see my crew again so my social life can be reborn. And...as odd as it sounds...I miss my old school/work/drink/sleep routine. It keeps me in check.

i definately win the 'staying up late' contest, as i am on midnight shifts and did not go to bed until 9am this morning. it sucks. i think that the strangest part of nightshifts is eating your lunch of a salad and tuna sandwich to look up at the clock and realize it is 6am. i should be eating pancakes at that hour!!
i don't know how fancy i'm going to go. i want to look more classy than anything. you know, accessorize and all that jazz. i hope the end result is very trendy.
laura, i think your sister is right. i'm sure there is some sort of spray. i would say scotch-guard, but i'm not sure. jess will surely know.
we were so ahead of our time with the 'hunks of howard' wallpapers. we should bring those back, and totally market this site to all the st. mary's kids. see if we get a fanbase from ak and dan. i feel honoured to be in such hot company! why don't the dames of howard ever get any love? i must say that our crew is winning the attractive war over pizzaboner. we are sizzlin'!

Web Design Tip o' the Morning (to ya!):
Italics...huh?
Well... actually Hollie has used CSS to make the new howard page (I say "make" as in "copy a template"). Which allows you to do all sorts of wacky things like make the italics tag cause a change in colour, size, font, state of matter etc.
Well, thats my guess. Jess: what happens when you have a blind business student? or a student with no hands? How do they buzz in? Man this is just ENCOURAGING your students to start text msging the answers around the class. Do they give you a microphone? Is there a lot of sequins involved in the new system? I kind of want to take your class just to play with this thing. It SUCKS that they are making the students buy them. Sorry, this clicker thing is just tooo weird.
PS I SOOOO win the "staying up late" contest.
PPS Jess, I bought a white wool coat today, is there some sort of magic spray I can coat it in to make it stain-resistant? Kind like fancy Scotch guard? My sister seems to think so.
PPPSS AK: a little birdy told me that all the first year Western girls think you are H-O-T. This bird also said that Dan Scarfone is still considered a handsome gent among current St. Mary's students. Apparently howard breeds hearthorbs.

I love how I haven't been to this site in about 234687126 years, and it's exactly the same way I left it - purple and user-friendly.
I also love how it's almost 3am and I am not even close to contemplating sleep...very unlike me. I'm usually out like the trash at 12, tops.
Oh Howard....I was wrong to turn my back on you. You give me a place to write down senseless things and a forum for others to read them...or not...whatever.

Saturday, January 7, 2006 at 02:06 a.m.
i haven't seen rent in either play or movie form, so i have no comment. though most of the people i've spoken with have enjoyed it. but then again, most of these people probably don't have the same taste in movies as the howard/pizzaboner crew.
so today for two painfully long hours, i endured "clicker training". what is clicker training you ask? well, you know how in who wants to be a millionaire, when the contestant wants to "ask the audience" and the audience is polled using handheld clickers? well, laurier has decided that this would be a GREAT way to mark participation in a "consistent and unbiased manner" for the intro to business class that i'm TAing. so now with the powerpoint presentations we use for labs, we have random questions that pop up and poll the class to see if they're paying attention (using both attendance and accuracy to grade their particpation mark). this works in theory, but requires a lot more work on my part, like loading this clicker program before every class and making sure all of the student's clickers (which they have to buy) are set on the same CHANNEL as the receiver. plus i wasn't exactly paying attention to the training due to extreme hunger, so i've yet to figure out how to work the clicker system. ugh. on the bright side, i now get $500 more a term for the pain in the ass this is going to be. woohoo!
i should be at the poker party, but i have no idea what i'm going to wear. how dressy are people getting for this thing?

OH GOD. i thought the exact same thing about 'rent' being on his list. sean also loved 'hollywood homicide', so i don't take his list too seriously. haha. i saw 'king kong' though jane, and it was great. i was literally on the edge of my seat for some scenes, it was really tense.
is your mom in halifax now jane, or is it next weekend? is everyone else going to erik's poker party? what are the girls wearing? i need to get a new fancy outfit.

Howard looks pretty. I'm still not going to post on it very often, but it looks pretty. Still, Hollie missed the beautiful sentiment of the previous layout! It wasn't supposed to stay forever, it was just there for New Years, to represent Howard returning from the dead for one night.
Anyway. I just came on here to post, because I wanted to know if anyone else noticed that Sean put RENT on his top 10 list of 2005 movies on Pizzaboner? DEAR GOD SEAN! That was by far, the worst movie I saw all year. She comes back to life at the end!!! She walks away from the bright white lights, and comes back to life !!!!!!!!!!!

Hurrah for the third! I am about to go back to school. I do not want to go back to school. *Someone* puked in the boy's bathroom at school and no one has cleaned it up for like two weeks (thank god for my own little ensuite). Thats how gross my life is. And Dan's. And Scott's if he knew about it.
DIRTY LAUNDRY!
Maybe I will delete that last paragraph. You know, just in case no one posts on Howard for like two years and that is the last statement.

weeeeeeee!
i think the password situation might have something to do with one of those times the "pizzaboner" crew hacked in and changed the layout/password. though i'm not sure. i also vaguely remembered someone (hollie?) claiming that they would never post again using this password so i always thought we changed it...but apparently not. hmm.
i just took a look at the guestbook...what the hell.
so tonight is new years eve. since most people made "other" plans, the rest of us are going to visit mike and hollie. hollie i hope you meant it when you said we could come. but we're bringing lots of food and alcohol, so hopefully you will still love us!
i also make no promises about ever posting again...but maybe for the next day or so.

A TRIUMPHANT RETURN!!!!
Fuck that bitches. I tried for like 10 minutes to logon, and couldn't remember the god-damned password. Why the helllllllll did we choose the password that we did? And why the hellllllllllllllll did I actually remember it? Weird.
Anyway - I made a triumphant return, bitches. In hopes that the rest of you would follow in suit. Not for ever, but maybe just for tonight and tomorrow. After that, I pretty much promise I won't be on here regularly; I have nothing to say to you fools that often. The old "Hey Ak: Communism!! Let's make out" has really lost it's lustre, and so has "Jess, I hate you!", as well as "Laura... make out with Dan!, and of course "Dan....make out with Laura".
Oh, and to Hollie, I always say the same "Hiiiiiiiiiii. Soulmates. You made me Virgin Mary underwear and we both love the art of kissing. Sex."
So bitches -- follow in suit. Make a triumphant return, if only for tonight. Xoxoxox, Happy New Year and such.

i just wrote a REALLY long blog and deleted it. cmak;kcoamsa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. anyways, so short story: no hollie, i've only read SIX chapters!! its pretty sad, but we have this ice (integrated case exercise) thing at school where we have this big case for two weeks and nothing else, and its supposed ot integrate all of the core business functions and its worth 10% of every mark. so while i did get the book on friday night and have been reading it in pockets of spare time, i probably won't finish it until this coming weekend at the earliest. but i will discuss it with you when i'm done!! the six chapters that i HAVE read were fantastic. i can't wait to read the rest. has anyone else read it yet?? laura? jane?

Ok, I'm trying to plan out my reading material and I need some advice... how soon should I start rereading Harry Potter #5 is prep for next friday? I mean I want to finish it but I dont want a gap in between so I have to read something retarded like the "Borgia Bride" and thus taint my state of Potter readiness. Or.. oh... should I just start rereading the whole series over again?

Yeah! Yeah!
Jessica - so you are home this weekend? I think you should come to Toronto because its the coolest place. The Mike party has moved onto a bar so cool air is not a problem. Thus you have no excuses, NO EXCUSES!
Its nice to be back in Toronto, if only for a day (until Hamilton that is). I went a little crazy trying to get an internship in another city (an excuse for a litttle travel) but now that I got a placement in Ottawa, I fear that it was a mistake. I would have loved to stay here all summer. Stupid miscalculations. But Ottawa IS a lovely town.
Anyways: CANADA DAY! LETS ALL GET DRUNK!

i'm blogging, i'm blogging!
so school kind of sucks right now. like really. i don't think i've experience more groupwork in my entire life than i have this term. though its probably still better than having all math classes (which i will be back to next year...sigh). anyways, i'm really just looking forward to having august off and going back to work again. i'm so excited to be in toronto! we can go shopping and go out. yaaaay!
ummm about the housing situation, i haven't really looked too hard for a place in toronto yet, because my current roomates (who i would like to live with again next term) haven't *technically* found jobs yet so are unsure as to where exactly in toronto they will be (or really...if they'll be in toronto at all). so i'm going to wait awhile...i figure there isn't a huge rush, and for sublets people are still looking for july-august renters anyways. BUT if anyone knows of people who are currently in a short-term rental, or need to rent something out for next semester..let me know! i'll live anywhere along the east side of the subway line, pretty much.
okay...hollie, who is coming to toronto? i wouldn't mind coming for the night, but i'm a little worried about all of those people in that little apartment with no AC. and are you staying in TO this weekend? speaking of this weekend, is anything fun happening? i actually have a lot of work i need to do but i want to go to the beach for a day or something, if possible. i know it'll be crazy busy but i don't care! i bought a new (PLAID) bathing suit last week and i want to wear it!

howard is the saddest sack of a blog ever. i'm ashamed. at you, and myself.
how is school, jessica? have you found an apartment in toronto yet? that will be exciting when you do. i am making lots of money, so if i save any, we can go shopping, with laura. who by the way, is in ottawa. how is that lola? how did the interview go?
ak, how is the city? i bet you have a nice tan. you should come back to toronto and party. hard. dan, how is the exotic second cup girl? you should do her. jane, how is smoking fat doobs with your mom?
hey what is on the agenda for thursday night? because friday is a holiday. and saturday is mike's birthday! so i was thinking for all of you who haven't been up to visit yet, and those of you who have, hows about we go drinking in toronto on thursday night for a good ol' celebration of mike's day of birth??
we have a pullout couch, and room on the floor, if anyone needs to stay over. plus we bought a lot of drinks for the pride parade so we have a ton left over. i make a mean margarita. plus i'm baking a cake!! let me know if anyone thinks this is a good idea. i don't know if there's already plans to go out when mike's home on the weekend.
get back to me!!!

so these are the people i have on my list who are in for camping so far. if you're not on the list, i haven't heard from you. deadline is this saturday, and if i don't hear from you by then you don't have a place at the campsite, so get in touch with me by then! also, when i do book you, it's finalized. if something comes up where you can't make it you either have to find someone who will replace you or pay what you would have owed for the campsite. i don't want to be left with a giant visa bill if people can't make it. so here's the list:
- rick
- andrew
- keane
- laura
- adam
- jess
- dan
- jane
- jarek

ok, this is the plan, august 19, 20, 21 - CAMPING!!! we have picked a day, and now all who want to join must work around this, we figured it's far enough in advance so that everyone can make arrangements. it's the second last weekend in august, and we're thinking the pinery or turkey point. everyone who wants to come must send me an email at bluedressgirl@hotmail.com. submissions will not be accepted past may 28th. we never plan stuff like this out, we always say we will but never do it. everyone is invited, let me know so that i can book the appropriate number of campsites.

Hollieholliehollie.... how how how are you going to be on jeopardy?!?! I mean how are you going to potentionally be on jeopardy?! I hear they make you take tests. If you go on jeopardy will you mention me? Or mention howard as the "interesting thing about you". We could get international media attention! And if you dont... I know where you live. And I could possibly find out where you work.

ttc didn't strike, which is good, but my last days are wednesday and thursday anyways. even if they had gone on strike, i would hope that it would have been resolved by then. the city would be at a deadstop! and if it hadn't been resolved i could have just not gone, since i'm not getting paid or anything.
i am coming home this weekend. it's mediafest (the awards show) so i bought a pretty new outfit for when i am on stage receiving my award. except i can't walk in the shoes. i know jess would have no problem with them. i am a high heel failure.
me and mike went to do laundry tonight, but the laundromat across the street from us closed down, we think. it was locked, and the number to call was out of service. so now we have to go to the scary basement of our apartment, where we only have enough change to do one load. we're going to mix and match with the most essential things, like underwear. instead of doing laundry over the weekend, i made mike buy 3 new pairs to last him until today. haha.
blahhh. dinnertime.

Hey,
As I am done exams on wednesday, dear jessica, next weekend would be perfect.
In other less fun news, I had my Vancouver placement interview over the phone and it went: meh. I was not fully prepared for how weird phone interviews would be. Lets just say I will not be suprised if I dont/if I do get the placement. But its not like I called the interviewer's mother a whore or anything.
We need more drunken entries. What ever happened to drunken entries? Drunken entries were the best.

laura: the exam went ok, i think. i'm hesitant to say anything about it because it was multiple choice, and really i could have thought i did spectacular and still have failed. i just need the 60 for a pass though (since its a certification course, not a school one, the mark really doesnt' actually matter) so i'm hoping i got at least that. also, is this coming weekend the one you said would be good for a visit? because christine is done exams on thursday so maybe saturday/sunday? let me know. and dan, you stay home if we come!
so, i've got three weeks left at winners, and i couldn't be happier about it. i wouldn't say that i HATE my job exactly, but i'm definately sick of it and would like to go back to school now. also kind of strange that while everyone else is lokoing forward to their summers of working and being school-free, i am looking forward to the exact opposite. but hey, on the topic, what is everyone doing for the summer? working? coming home?
ooh hollie, are you working much next week? i hear the ttc is actually going on strike on monday, and i'm kind of terrified about how the drive is going to be. but at least i'm not right in the core downtown-area, i'm sure it will be chaos. hopefully you have an alternate route that doesn't entail taking very expensive cab rides to work. though if that IS your only choice, i heard on the radio that they did a test of some cab companies, and apparently beck is the cheapest in the downtown area.
done.

Hey all,
Jess: how was your exam? examalicious?
Well the school year is winding down. Just have one project (which I should be printing right now) and one exam left. Oh and a little thing called "getting an internship" which is a requirement of graduation. Actually I have a phone interview with a place in Vancouver on thrusday. Quite nerve wracking. Oh then tons of glorious drinking.

sadly jess i will NOT be coming home this weekend. i have to work night shifts friday, saturday, and sunday. AND i just had a horrible realization that i have no way to get home after my night shift at 7:30am sunday morning, as the subways don't run until 9am. should i wait? should i try my fate with a bus? this happened to me last sunday where i worked 7:30am-pm and i was almost late because i didn't know that the subways weren't running. a little old korean lady helped me out (i think it was the soul of jessica in disguise) and on the bus wanted to know if i wanted to go to the market one day with her.
i am currently watching all the friends dvd's. well, seasons five-nine, because i've probably seen all the earlier ones. i love friends. and i love sleep. i wish i got more of it.
nothing else new to say...i got hired at tmn? so my whole summer will be filled with fun nightshifts. hurrah.

hellooo cunts!
dan, i'm well aware that i only have a lack of internet at work, but by the
time i actually get home i feel that i have better things to do than spend
MORE time on the computer. and i'm supposed to be reading for this
securties course thing, because i'm going to take my first exam soon.
bleh.
there hasn't really been anything to do at work for the last couple of
weeks. and today's been especially boring work-wise because no one is
doing anything. there is going to be an organizational meeting in a half
hour, because they're doing a big shuffle of the teams, and pretty much all
anyone's been doing all morning is gossiping about where everyone is going.
so i'm pretty much killing time until this meeting. but i'm sad, because
everyone around me is leaving for my last month, and i'm going to have to
make small talk with the new people. i HATE small talk.
hollie, i'm sorry that you were home and i was in ottawa. i'm more sorry
because i'm assuming that means you won't be home this weekend for any
easter festivities? is anyone coming home? i'm excited to have friday off,
but its probably going to be boring since NOTHING is open on good friday.
booo. but ottawa was fun. we got there at like 12 on thursday night and
went straight to the bar to catch up, and i ordered a pitcher for myself
and drank it all and more. and while this might not be a big deal for some
people, it was for me. and we went to this crazy club/bar on friday that
had three floors but only one washroom. and if you wanted to go to the
washroom, you had to line up to get back upstairs. it was retarded.
i'm also re-reading harry potter right now. i'm actually done re-reading
them but now they're all over my house so i've been picking up random ones
and reading chapters here and there. i'm so pathetic. i actually read my
old copy of the first one that holie got me for my birthday in high school,
which no longer has a cover or the last 5 pages or so.
ok, i'm going to go wander around some more and gossip before this meeting.
hopefully laura or hollie actually posts this for me, unlike the last time
i tried to blog from work.
also: please email me. i'm bored at work!

jess, i came home this weekend, but you were in OTTAWA. slut. we called adam but noone picked up. luckily sean was able to do something saturday or else it would have been a very boring night. i hate you.
i'm going to watch as many seasons of friends tonight as i can. my sister bought every season, and lent me the last four (well, six, seven, eight and nine since ten hasn't come out yet) to aide me in staying up all night in preparation for my night shifts for the next two weeks.
my boring white walls are killing me. anyone up to helping me paint the week of april 17th, once school is done? you all must. ooooh, jane will be home then, so i can hold your mattress ransom unless you help me paint. plus we can have sex and roll around naked on the walls covered in paint. awesome.
ak is such a giant whore.

Dan is a columbian cunt.
Sorry I missed out on all the wild kareokee adventures. Though I am super excited that you guys found a place which SERVES ALCOHOL. I mean, kareokee is fun but add some vodka to the mix and well... I start singing JLo while Jessica tries to break dance on a wooden deck.
My online portfolio is almost up and ready. I've had to rush it due to the fact that there is two weeks left of class and I dont have a placement yet. Though, it should be noted, only 3 people/100 have a placement thus far.
I think I spelt kareokee wrong.
Anyways St.Patrick's Day tomorrow! Hurrah! It is my little bright shining light in the midst of so much work. Actually, I should be going at all. First year I didn't go out because of work and had to have it explained to me that international drinking days are a (unofficial) civic holiday.
Also I'm reading Harry Potter again... number five... Fred and George just gave the PG "fuck you" to Umbridge! Hurrah!
Dan is sick with dirty facial hair syphillis. Don't go near him.

i'm sorry i don't write anymore, but you know the story. i work all day with no internet access, and by the time i come home i really have no interest in staring at a computer screen much longer. also, my computer/internet was dead for like the last two weeks-ish. so what are YOUR excuses?? huh??
so. hollie and jane, lets dooooooo something this week while you're home! laura was home last week and i only saw her twice because she's a giant nerd who does too much work. and being at home and not in school is kind of lonely when everyone else is busy with their work. so entertain me!
mmm what else is new. dan's right. pretty much all i do is work and shop. and watch tv with adam. i went to vaughan mills with christine on sunday and i bought pretty new earrings, and a clubby top so now we want to go clubbing. anyone want to come?? pleaaaase?

An entry for the ages!
So, as you asses know, I've been in Toronto for the entirety of my reading week. I think that I've lost a lot of weight, as I'd rather fetal-position-it-up in my bed than make food. Other than that, things are good.
Where the hell is AK? I haven't laid eyes on that douche since Christmas. What a perplexing fellow. For the public record, congratulations on your commissioned writing. You beat Jane and I, because you are not as damn lazy. You deserve it, fatty.
Speaking of the MIA, where's Jess? Oh, that's right. She's working and shopping. Oh, wait. She's always working and shopping. Keep it real, Muffnut, and visit on free days.
Remember, back in the day, when I would write random lines and quotes in my entries? Those days are dead!
In more relative contexts, in one month and two days, Howard will be three and one-half years old. That's 42 months. We are incredible.
AK is still a douche.

I can't believe one class can completely ruin your mood. I mean, I woke up today all happy, hunky dorey etc. Well, I mean for fifteen minutes I hated the world, but that was just normal, alarm-going-off hate. It passed by breakfast.
Then, in my seminar the chair was uncomfortable, the stupid people were being quite vocally stupid, and I was yawning the entire time. Usually, people would say "but I didn't let that dampen my mood!" but oh no... fuck those people. I was dampered. Damp. Whatever. It was foul. And it doesnt matter that the rest of the day was above average (email from Jess, on campus food runs, free hot beverages), oh no, Monday, Jan. 31 2005 - you suck!
I will leave you, dear reader, on a happier note. Designated one of the worst opening sentence of a story ever: "'I think I know who the murderer is!' Kevin Blogged."

hellooooooo. i'm getting laura to post this for me because i'm at work and
without internet access, but i'm bored since no one is actually here yet.
and i have a story about how dumb my mom and i are. so on tuesday morning,
we realized that my car needed windshield wiper fluid. so we filled it up
in what we THOUGHT was the washer fluid tank and i went off to work, which
was fine. then on the way home i noticed a flashing light on my dashboard
that i'd never seen before, and realized while i was flipping through the
car manual looking for this light, that we'd actually put the fluid in the
ENGINE COOLANT tank! so not actually realizing what that meant, i was
terrified but also knew that if i stopped in mississauga my dad would
probably take like 2h ours to find me, and since i don't have a caa
membership or anythign i just decided tos ee how far i could go. so i keep
driving and this light turns off, but then everyone 5 minutes or so a
DIFFERENT light turns on and off and about 20 minutes in, my heat stops
working too. i made it to hamilton but once i got on the 403 i started
hearing shaking noises so i got off, and then i barely made it into the
driveway of mcdonalds before the engine died. and then some guys pushed me
further into the parking lot so i wouldn't get hit (but i think they dented
my trunk in the process). and then my dad and bruce show up, but by that
time apparnetly the engine (which had overheated) had cooled down and it
started running again, but still shaking...so my dad drove it home and we
got the coolant tank flushed out. the end. i'm retarded.
end note: jess' email got lost in my junkmail so i didnt post it till tonight. when she msged me about it. yeah.

Yeah! Heated apartments rock! woo!
So I went home this weekend but remained a hermit due to the snow. Stupid snow. But it was funny to watch the dogs run around in it... it looked like they were swimming.
In the interest of spontaneity, yesterday, after class, seven of us kids went downtown in the big city to have some dinner. Quite successful. Quite delicious. And some of us got so drunk, I could hear them when i was in the basement washroom. Shame Dan couldnt come. But we are going to do this sort of "fun" thing more often. Apparently this weekend even.
Oh and the design work has started to kick in. Yeah! It was strange for a while there (readings? essays? this is like being an arts major) and people were going a little stir crazy.
Also, British Scientists concluded that Jan. 24 is the most depressing day of the year (they even have a formula for it).

Sunday, January 16, 2005 at 10:33 a.m.
i agree with dan. laura does too much work, but then that's why she has an A+ average or something ridiculous like that, isn't it?
anyyyyyyways, i couldn't really sleep last night, i kept waking like every half hour after 7-ish, which really killed the "i'm going to sleep all day" plan. so now i'm bored. i might even start reading this textbook i got on friday. pfft. i registered for this canadian securities course on WEDNESDAY night (for certification to sell securities and mutual funds and stuff...its good to have for some co-op jobs) and it shows up on friday! crazy people. so now my two weeks of guilt-free doing nothing are over..blahhhh.
so i went to toronto on friday night and hung out with laura and dan, which was fun, and then we went shopping yesterday. and i went into pottery barn and williamas sonoma (both high-priced houseware/cookware stores) and it was very exciting. and next tuesday at work i'm going to some gourmet cookware store called the cheese house or something. hahaa i'm such a dork...
ok...everyone else should keep blogging. and hollie, have we raised ANY money yet??

Dudes, I don't even know anymore.
So, I'm sitting here in my room while attempting to complete and utterly easy, UNBELIEVABLY boring assignment that was due over a week ago. It's 2.30AM and I have to be in class by 10.00AM. This is garbage. I hate this class so much that I want to throw up all over the place.
I just don't think that school is as awesome as people make it out to be. I mean, I enjoy the lifestyle that goes along with it, but is that worth the $40,000 it costs to sustain said lifestyle?
Maybe I've been reading Jane's page too much, and maybe I just hate all of my classes too much, but damnit.
I'm not sure if that qualifies as a rant.
Perhaps a rantella?

Wooo double entry!! Aren't I keen? Nothing new on the internet. Dan is reading my mini-essay for tomorrow (pick two magazines: one you like, one you don't) and tell the class why. So for homework I got to read magazines. But this is a new class with a great prof so everyone is hyper competitive to get the greatest and most original two magazines ever. Ever!!! Arrr!!!

princess diaries 2 was SO SO SO awful. jane and i saw it in the theatre in antigonish when i went to visit her. we were super excited going in, but wanted to drown ourselves in the butter/popcorn machine by the end. AWFUL.

also, we watched the princess diaries 2 tonight, and it was pretty horrible. i definately wasn't expecting it to be that bad. like, some points were KIND of entertaining, but i spent the majority of the movie wanting to turn it off. but i kept waiting for it to get better, and it didn't really.

when exactly do we make money? is it purely per clicks, or does it require more effort? anyways, i will also try to post but seeing as i HAVE NO INTERNET at winners it may be a problem. i'm really not sure how i'm going to survive, especially seeing as i had msn last coop term...but oh well. the store visits *coughshoppingtripscough* should make it better...this week's been pretty good. other than the fact that it took me TWO HOURS to drive in this morning anyways...
i'm all for helping out with the tsunami. we're having a bake sale on tuesday. ironically, no one on my team (gourmet kitchen - includes bakeware and food) actually bakes. i'm pretty sure one of the girls bought a pie plate today with intentions to make a cake in it...
also: its friday night and i have NO plans. this is very sad, i think i need more friends here in ancaster because everyone has plans already. i feel kind of like a loser because i think adam and i are going to end up watching 23 season two again (which is what we've been doing all week). howard, come home! i'm lonely.

As much as I hate charity, I love Asians.
Therefore, I am very in. I'm not sure how many hits Howard is making daily, but I'll try to post like a madman, and keep the naughty words to a minimum.
I've been omega busy these past few days, I've managaged to do nothing but eat, sleep, work, and go to class. That's right, ladies, Dan is academic.
In other news, I was at work today, grindin' coffee and lookin' hot, when some fatty-bo-condom-rip-batty comes up to me and says,
"What's your name?"
"Ugh... Dan?"
"Oh, well, this is going to sound stupid, but my friend was in here the other day and thinks your hot. She doesn't know I'm doing this, but here's her number."
That's right. Dan got some digits. Apparently I had served the girl a drink the day before, and she came in later this evening. Although her friend is one of the ugliest trolls I've ever seen, she wasn't half-bad.
It's too bad her friends are gross and I would never associate with either of them, because we could've made hot, midget babies.

Hey, just procrastinating before I head off to psych. I'm finding it kind of weird being back... maybe its the new classes, maybe its just that this year has been a real upheaval. My first class of the new year was cancelled (we were informed after everyone was seating in the classroom). Also news: it snowed last night! Weird!
Sorry if this is stupid news that no one cares about but I just felt that howard needed a little bit of sparkle after archieve.
